This website is intended for people interrested in the wonderful world of computer networks.
When I was a beginner in this field I quickly became frustrated at the material out there.
It was either explained at a very entry level or described extremly detailed in a wall of text.
The intent of this site is to bridge the gap between the extremes and provide a nice middleground
learning experince. The articles here focus on the practical aspect which will give you a
real-world undstanding of the subject that is easy to learn. Head over to Network Topics to see them all.

OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) is a reference model used to describe how computers
communicate using standard protocols. Basically it can be seen as the universal language
of computer networking.
The OSI model is divided into seven different layers where each layer describes a different
function of data traveling through a network. When combined together, each function
contributes to enable end-to-end communication between computers.
